I am currently a Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. I currently occupy the position of Head, Department of Aerospace Engineering
I have occupied varied roles in diverse aerospace ecosystems spanning research labs, industry and academia.
My research is primarily focused on developing physics-based and data-driven tools, methodologies and systems for aircraft structural health and usage monitoring. I like to broadly term these as Aircraft Healthware Systems. Visit my research page for more details and other areas that I work on.
